Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to paid Pro plan subscriptions on splitmybills.in. The Free plan has no charges and is therefore not subject to this policy.
This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and related guidelines applicable to digital services in India.
2. Free Trial — Try Before You Pay
7-day free trial of all Pro features
Before any payment is required, every new user is offered a 7-day free trial with full access to all Pro features — unlimited groups, unlimited expenses, recurring expenses, expense templates, and Excel export. No credit card is required to start the trial.
The trial gives you complete hands-on experience with the Pro plan. We encourage you to thoroughly evaluate all features during the trial period before deciding to subscribe.
3. Subscription Plans

4. No-Refund Policy
Because a full-featured 7-day free trial is provided before any payment is charged, all Pro plan purchases are final and non-refundable. By subscribing, you confirm that you have had the opportunity to evaluate the Service during the trial period.
The no-refund policy applies to:
- Change of mind after subscribing
- Failure to use Pro features during the subscription period
- Accidental subscription (if Pro features were accessed)
- Accounts suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service
4.1 Exception — Service Unavailability
A credit (not a refund) may be offered at our sole discretion if the Service was materially unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours within a billing period, due to causes within our control (excluding scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or force majeure events). 5. Cancellations
- You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings.
- Upon cancellation, your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged for the next period.
- After Pro access expires, your account reverts to the Free plan automatically. Your data is fully retained — no data is deleted upon downgrade.
6. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. The policy in effect at the time of your most recent subscription purchase will govern your subscription for that billing period.
